My question is, what has life become?

I come to you with it, because here I sit, the day I finished exams, drinking vanilla hazelnut coffee and eating vegetable thins at 10:30 pm, watching Joey from friends get his head stuck in Monica's doorway. I'm supposed to be packing.

What is wrong with me? In fact, what is wrong with all of us? Why am I sitting here unintentionally celebrating social-celibacy with caffine on a thursday night? And why are you sitting there reading about it?

So, what has life become? Really.

Think about it.

Isn't sad that I will sit here until the caffine wears off? And that the eight....or more like twelve romance novels sitting in a bag beside me will probably be read before my five hour road trip to Saint John on saturday, for which I actually got them for? And that, now that I think about it, it's not just my thursday night social life which is suffering from a form of celibacy? And isn't it even sadder that I'm watching old re-runs of Friends on TBS?

Wow...

It's hard to believe I'm actually content for the night.

Or at least I was.

I now look at my coffee with distain. And I scarcily remember that I'm allergic to an ingredient in my Veggie Thin Crackers. I also think about how there is so much more I could be doing with my time...like working to save the enviroment, or posting aid's awareness posters. I have now made myself miserable...and will continue to eat my Vegetable Thins until my head pounds with MSG migraines.

Life is brilliant.

And so I ask again. What has life become?
